From time to time KAVA members have run workshops to share their skills with other members.
To date we hosted workshops on: Art, Creativity & Symptoms with William Fulford & Eileen Carroll; Plein-Air Painting with Frank Sanford; Outdoor Photography with Jacques ‘Nutan’ Pirapez; Life Casting in Alginate with Colin Johnston; and a Graffiti Workshop for all ages with Brian Twomey, with William Fulford and Cathy Dunne. Helen Walker led a lively and successful Drawing Marathon. Heidi Reich’s Linocut Workshop (April 2017) was a welcome opportunity to get hands-on practice with a seasoned printmaker. Beyond Landscape (June 2017) allowed KAVA members to engage in landscape exploration with 3 visiting artists from Leeds.
If you would like to run a workshop or have an idea for a workshop in something you would like to see KAVA offer please CONTACT US here and we will put the idea forward to members.
KAVA regularly runs life drawing sessions for both members and non-members. To find out details of these please CONTACT US and we can let you know details of the next session.
